Like all (most?) humans I have my ups and downs - what I will say is that my life is more than my posts, less than people may imagine, and interesting enough that I love most days.
This is my first blog post (in this blog). The target of this blog is to 1) track my adventures and travels, 2) track my past adventures and travels and 3) have a place to publish some writing and thoughts (keeping it in Google Docs isn't cutting it!)
I've been around the block, had great adventures, many ups and downs and now at 42 I have a lot of energy, time and drive to do even more.
Dare to go further
Despite the fact I thought I would be settled down with a wife and kids, I find myself single and often ready to mingle. Life is interesting as it rarely turns out as planned. I think John Lennon summed it up well saying "Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans." I can't think of a better summary of where I've been to date. While I'm not where I planned to be I'm going to take advantage of every opportunity I reasonably can!
